Acne Rosacea - How to Effectively Treat Rosacea Symptoms

Danna Schneider has written Acne Rosacea - How to Effectively Treat Rosacea Symptoms and writes "Rosacea - How to Naturally Calm and Eliminate Rosacea and Acne Rosacea

Acne Rosacea and Rosacea are fairly common skin disorders that primarily affect fair skinned people in their 30's and over. While it's exact cause is difficult to pinpoint, the symptoms of Rosacea are obvious in their manifestation on the facial skin.

Typical Rosacea symptoms are a combination of any of the following: Red looking, flushed skin - especially on the nose and the cheeks, small, dilated blood vessels known as telangiectases may appear in the background, inflamed red bumps sometimes with a yellow head (acne rosacea), a shiny, oily appearance to the skin, and roughness, or "orange peel" like texture of the affected skin..

Acne rosacea is the more severe of the two, and definitely is more noticeable, as it not only manifests itself in skin redness, but also in acne-like postules that infect and swell, making the skin bumpy and inflamed.

Rosacea is typically aggravated by alcoholic beverage consumption, hot or spicy foods, some types of common cosmetic ingredients, sun exposure, hot baths, hot tubs, saunas, and the consumption of hot drinks.

People who suffer from Rosacea are typically advised to avoid these triggers, but this of course is not always possible. While it is not possible to actually cure Rosacea, since the underlying cause seems to elude scientists, there are ways of controlling it that are very effective.

The Most Commonly Prescribed Rosacea Treatments

Many who suffer from this skin disorder do seek the advice and prescribing authority of a dermatologist to control it. The most common dermatologist-prescribed method of controlling Rosacea is through the utilization of a topical antibiotic.

While this can be effective in controlling the problem, it is mostly temporary, and the problem returns immediately after the treatment stops. This can also be a problem for those who may not have the time or the money for the dermatologist visits and prescription refills.

Why Go Natural?

With today's nutraceutical and cosmeceutical advancements, there are so many treatments available that either equal prescription skin care treatments, and even outperform them. The best part is, you don't have to take the time out for the dermatologist appointment, and you don't have to pay the high recurring costs of prescription refills and return appointments.

This holds true for Rosacea and Acne Rosacea treatments also. Many people have had huge success with natural Rosacea treatments and systems - one in particular.

The marriage of pharmaceutical technology and nature has indeed spawned some of the greatest cosmetic correction innovations that we now are able to take advantage of today. With the proper skin care regimen, some lifestyle cautions and common sense avoidances, Rosacea is indeed a treatable skin condition, and it can be treated equally as well without prescription, man-made medications. Natural is always better, and these new and innovative Acne Rosacea products definitely prove just that.

See Acne Rosacea Treatments for more information on how to naturally eliminate rosacea and acne rosacea. Danna Schneider is the founder of Acne Rosacea and Acne Treatments Weblog, a daily news site dedicated to providing reviews and articles on the most effective natural acne treatments.

Cystic Acne Treatment - The Whole Truth

John Wellington has written Cystic Acne Treatment - The Whole Truth and writes "Cystic acne break-outs can be painful and lead to deep scarring. Some dermatologists consider it to be the most severe kind because topical medications do not get to the root of the problem. It heals extremely slowly because it is so deep that the infection is trapped under the skin. Cystic acne treatment is usually limited to oral medication so all cases should be taken to a dermatologist.

Isotretinoin is the most common, and most potent drug prescribed for cystic acne treatment. It is a man-made form of retinoid (Vitamin A) that is taken in pill form. It is the only prescription that treats excess oil production, clogged skin pores, and inflammation. This pill is taken up to 20 weeks and commonly does not require more than one course of therapy to cure. The most serious side-effect to taking this medication is the possibility of birth defects to a developing fetus. For this reason, women are required to not be pregnant or get pregnant at any time during this treatment. Regular check-ups are scheduled for each patient using this medication to monitor any additional side effects..

Common side effects of using isotretinoin as a cystic acne treatment include: muscle aches, uncomfortable drying of the lips and eyes, depression, and chest pain. Some of these side effects can cause serious health problems in the future. Always contact your doctor if you notice any of these side effects.

Oral contraceptives are used as cystic acne treatment in females. It suppresses overactive sebaceous (oil producing) glands, and is safe to be used long-term. In addition to an oral contraceptive, the doctor may prescribe a synthetic steroid to inhibit other hormones that stimulate the sebaceous glands.

If oral cystic acne treatment does not work, they may require drainage. This is considered acne surgery and should only be performed by a professional, in a sterile environment. If you attempt to squeeze or pick them yourself, the infection may last much longer than it would have. You may cause the infection to worsen and increase the inflammation and swelling.

For dramatically inflamed cysts, a dermatologist may decide to administer an injection with a highly-diluted corticosteroid to bring down the inflammation and increase the speed of healing. It is a generally painless procedure. It usually clears the cyst within a week and prevents rupturing and scarring. However, this is not the first choice of cystic acne treatment by most dermatologist because it only treats current acne.

In addition to the medications your dermatologist prescribes to you, be responsible for the health of your skin. Wash your face at least once a day, especially following exercise or other sweat-inducing activity. Do not wash your skin too often or it could result in drying out. Bursting of cystic acne will most likely result in scars, so avoid this at all costs. Make sure your hands and fingers stay away from your face. Your hands pick up dirt and germs with everything you touch and this coming in contact with your face can increase the chance of infection.

Some Oily Skin Treatments Lead To Dry Skin

John Davis has written Some Oily Skin Treatments Lead To Dry Skin and writes "Oily skin is a problem for millions of people and although there are numerous treatment options available, the condition may persist for years in some cases. Oily skin is characteristically shiny with a dull-colored pallor. If the condition persists for years and is a chronic concern, the pores of the skin will become clogged with excess oil and outbreaks of acne may occur. Most treatment options attempt to remove the excess oils with chemicals or harsh soaps. However, this tends to go too far and actually remove too much oil to the point that the skin dries out. Treating oily skin properly is a delicate process that requires a balance between removing enough of the excess oil to eliminate the problem without creating a new one by removing too much and causing dry skin. A firm understanding of the causes of oily skin is important in understanding the best treatment options for you.

Common causes of oily skin
Sadly, our genes are often responsible for our oily skin problems-at least to some extent. The other major factor that causes oily skin is our diet. Too many processed sugars, fluids, and excess salt may all contribute to oily skin problems. Even when heredity is suspected as the cause of oily skin, a dermatologist will still recommend alterations to the diet as a means of managing the problem..

Our hormones are another big factor where temporary (and in some cases long-term) problems with oily skin are concerned. This is especially the case during puberty when hormone levels are known to vary greatly. A common factor in adolescent outbreaks is due to excessive sebum (oils) production as a result of hormone imbalances.

Hormones are also prone to imbalance during pregnancy which is why oily skin is often a problem for many women prior to giving birth. Birth control pills can actually make the problem worse but they are often prescribed initially as a potential means of correcting the hormone imbalance.

Other known factors contributing to problems with oily skin are cosmetics and humidity or very hot weather.

Treating Oily Skin
While diet is often a large factor in problems with oily skin, most people will choose to attack the condition directly. That is, they choose to remove the excessive oil. This is often accomplished by washing excessively, using a harsh soap with high lye concentration, or a combination of both. Unfortunately, this often creates more health problems than existed with the oily skin.

The oil produced by the sebaceous glands helps lubricate our skin and help retain moisture. When a person washes excessively or removes too much sebum, the skin will become dry, flaky, and eventually, itchy. Plus, the removal of those oils will stimulate the sebaceous glands to produce even more oils and can result in a condition known as Reactive Seborrhea. This will send your glands into overtime and may lead to malfunctioning in the future. Any soaps that cause more problems than they create should obviously be avoided.

You want to find a soap that doesn't use any harsh chemicals or artificial additives. Avoid any soaps that contain alcohol and try to find those with all-natural ingredients such as almond, olive, or even avocado oil. All have deep-penetrating qualities that will replenish the skin and help retain moisture.

The bathing itself should be confined to warm, not hot water. It is important to remove the excess oils but not to remove them all. Hot water makes it easier for the soap to remove the oil and dirt from your face and speeds up the entire process and may lead to dry skin and flaking. It is also important not to scrub your face excessively while bathing as it, too, will help remove too much oil. A gentle rubbing motion should be sufficient to eliminate your oily skin problem without causing a dry skin problem in the process.

The simple act of bathing or washing too often is a common tactic used to treat oily skin. However, this will also remove too many of the oils responsible for protecting your skin and may lead to Reactive Seborrhea. One washing per day with a mild soap should be sufficient to remove the excess oils while leaving enough behind to retain moisture and protect skin.

While using a mild soap, warm water, and washing only once a day are all great ideas that should remove excess oils while leaving enough behind to lubricate and protect the skin, a moisturizer will still be necessary. It is especially important to use a moisturizer within the first few minutes after bathing. This will help lock in more moisture before it has a chance to evaporate.

Not only is the timing of the application of a moisturizer important, but the type you use is of the utmost importance. Paying particular attention to the active ingredients is a good way to avoid spending money on products that may do you more harm than help. Moisturizers made with harsh chemicals or synthetic ingredients can lead to a host of problems including allergic reactions, dehydration, and even outbreaks of acne. Plus, if the balance is not right, the moisturizer may cause the same oily skin your were trying to get rid of in the first place.

After gently scrubbing your skin with a mild soap and removing the excess oil, you want to apply a moisturizer made from all natural ingredients that will help retain moisture without leaving an oily film on your face. Avocado oil, almond oil, and olive oil are all natural oils that can protect, moisturize, and help your skin look beautiful without causing any of the side effects as those products made from chemicals or synthetic ingredients.

The removal of excess oils produced by the sebaceous glands is an essential first step in treating oily skin. The use of a mild soap with an all natural moisturizer should be used once a day to remove the excess oils without removing all oils from your skin. Then, the application of a moisturizer made with all natural ingredients (to help reduce chances of allergic reaction, dehydration, etc. caused by chemical ingredients) within a few minutes of washing will help retain moisture and keep skin looking healthy and beautiful.

Using Topical Products To Help Treat Acne

TR Brown has written Using Topical Products To Help Treat Acne and writes "There are numerous types of acne medications available both over-the-counter and by prescription. While some antibiotics are used in treating acne, most treatment starts with the use of topical acne products. These products are applied directly on the skin over the problem areas. These are often over-the-counter products, but topical antibiotics are also available for prescription.

These products help by killing the bacteria on the skin that may be causing the acne, but also reduce the infection caused by the condition itself. It also works to indirectly keep the pores open.

Topical antibiotic products have been around for a number of years with little change to their formulation, and have generally been very successful in treating various forms of acne..

Clindaamycin is the most frequently used antibiotic for treating acne. It is available as a solution, lotion., or gel at 1% strength. It is applied twice a day to all acne prone areas, and is generally well tolerated but may cause some irritation. There are several skin conditions where use of this product is advised against, so consult your physician about these conditions before using it. This medication must be prescribed.

Erythromycin is the second most common topical antibiotic used to treat acne. It is available as a gel, solution or ointment at 2% strength. It must be applied twice a day to all acne prone areas, and is also generally well tolerated, though some irritation may occur. It is also safe for use for women who are or may become pregnant.

Tetracycline is not often used as a topical treatment, but rather as an oral antibiotic. It is available as a solution and ointment at different strengths. It contains sodium bisulfite, a sulfa derivative, and has been known to cause allergic reactions. It may also cause yellowing of the skin. It is, however, a popular oral antibiotic for dermatologists to prescribe, but the same side effects may occur.

Metronidazol is used frequently for acne caused by rosacea. It is available as a gel at .75% strength. It must be applied once or twice a day, and like the others mentioned above, is usually well tolerated but can cause some irritation.

There are many other products used to treat acne that must be prescribed by a physician. Many factors go into determining what product is right for you such as skin type, type of acne, and the severity of your condition. It is usually recommended that you first try over-the-counter medications to treat your acne before resorting to a prescribed antibiotic. This can decrease the need for these products that are often harsh to your skin, but necessary in some cases to clear up the condition. Your physician will help you find one that is right for you.

Acne Treatment Products Proper Use

Sherry Frewerd has written Acne Treatment Products Proper Use and writes "Simply put, acne is caused by oil glands that produce excessive oil and block your pores, causing skin inflammation--pimples--or acne when it appears in excess. Finding the correct acne treatment for your skin is the first step in your acne treatment plan.

However, the problem with buying over the counter acne products is knowing which ones will work best for you. The stressful part of deciding on which acne treatment to use is A) people develop acne for various reasons, and B) there are hundreds of acne products on the market to tackle the different problems. This confuses a lot of people and often leads to excessive spending.

There are a few things to consider when looking for an acne treatment product:

*Acne treatment products are often sold in a series; and if not, there are usually complementary products you can purchase from the same brand..

*Acne treatment is not a one-time thing, it requires certain products that combine to form a "regimen." These products generally include face washes, cleansers, and night and day creams.

*In order to successfully eliminate your acne, you will need to stick to a "regimen," using your products in the order required for the products.

Your best bet is to purchase a "series" along with the additional acne blemish treatment products. After that, it is up to you to create a manageable regimen.

Although it may seem common sense, many people simply have no idea how to properly care for their complexion. So, given that, here’s the best way to start.

First, you will need to wash your face. This helps open your pores and clear them of any excess dirt. You should try not to be harsh on your skin when washing. You should wash gently and then pat dry. Once you finish this step, you will need to use a cleanser to remove dirt, grime, and oil that was not removed by the face wash – often called a toner. You will certainly feel the difference. Depending on what time of the day it is, you should use the appropriate cream. This will nourish your skin while simultaneously attacking acne. You are now done. Repeat this regimen daily and do not skip any parts.

Other than this, you should try to avoid certain things that will make you break out, such as applying large amount of make-up. This will only block your pores and cause acne to stay around longer.

Find the acne treatment product that works best for your skin type and situation. Follow the directions and start your daily regimen to begin seeing clearer skin.

What To Consider When Choosing Acne Treatment Products

Andrew Kotler has written What To Consider When Choosing Acne Treatment Products and writes "Acne can make life hard. There is no one simple solution as to how to get rid of acne. It is mainly a case of trial and error. However, there are steps you can take to ensure that your acne does not get out of control to the point where it hinders your social life.

Acne treatment products are available and they can help you in your plight, as long as you are willing to do your part of the work. The best thing you can do is to get the acne under control. A simple yet effective way of getting acne under control is with proper acne treatment.

You first step should be to find out what type of skin you have. Normally, acne sufferers have oily skin, but that can vary in many degrees. You could have extremely oily, slightly oily and so forth..

Also, when determining what type of skin you have, you should also remember that skin on the face can be oily in certain places only. You could have an oily forehead, an oily T-zone, or something different altogether.

You also need to also need to factor in your skin's sensitivity. All these things will have an effect on the type of acne treatment products you choose. If you know that you're prone to allergic reaction, then you may want to consider purchasing products that are made out of natural ingredients, as opposed to chemical treatments.

This is not only limited to acne sufferers with allergic reactions.

The best thing you can get for your acne treatment is use products that will kill bacteria and unclog pores while maintaining your skin's pH, so you can avoid getting dry, irritated skin.

Always try to avoid products that have been reported to have too many side effects. That means you have to research the product's history to determine how you can give your skin the best possible treatment."

Over the Counter Acne Treatment Products That Work

Yvette Chau has written Over the Counter Acne Treatment Products That Work and writes "Over the counter acne treatment products typically include acne or spot treatments, cleansers and washes, moisturizers, lotions, pads and wipes, masks and strips, shaving creams, and toners and astringents.

So how do you know what over the counter acne treatment you should use? Here’s some simple, yet powerful information that most folks unfortunately don’t take the time to find out.

Benzoyl Peroxide the Bacteria Slayer

Benzoyl Peroxide (BP) in over the counter acne treatment products:
-works best for moderate to moderately severe acne,
-deeply penetrates into the skin to kill tough bacteria,
-is best used preventatively,
-dries and exfoliating the skin,
-works faster than prescription antibiotics, and
-doesn’t allow bacteria to build resistance like prescription antibiotics.

However, BP is a very harsh chemical. It causes redness, dryness, and scaling. BP can also lighten fabric colors.

You can find a cheap tube of BP in any drugstore at 2.5% which will work wonders over a few weeks time.

Salicylic Acid – the Surface Slougher

Salicylic Acid or “beta hydroxyl acid” (BHA) works best for mild acne and sensitive skin, as a cleanser ingredient to slough surface skin cells, and as an agent that prepares the skin for other acne treatments. It breaks down a protein that holds the skin cells together. Over time, it exfoliates old skin and allows new healthy skin to surface. It loosens whiteheads and blackheads and helps expel them.

Salicylic acid is fairly mild. It does not reach down deep into the skin follicles like benzoyl peroxide. It can take up to 3 months to loosen smaller whiteheads and blackheads.

However salicylic acid works well if you use it over a consistent and long period of time.

Some side effects of salicylic acid include some skin peeling, dryness, and irritation when used at concentrations of 2% or greater. Possible adverse effects include salicylate toxicity, toxic inner ear damage, and hypersensitivity. Also risk of increases in skin sensitivity to sunlight.

Look for an over the counter acne treatment cleanser with concentrations of 2% salicylic acid, in an acid base with a pH of between 3 and 4.

Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA)

Alpha Hydroxy Acids work best for all types of skin, as a mild or strong cleanser, and for healing and preventing acne.

AHAs are natural acids which come from fruits, milk sugars, and plants. Glycolic and lactic acids are the most frequently used in over the counter acne treatment products, and are the most well researched AHAs to date.

AHA's gently peel away the uppermost layer of dead skin cells. They make way for the newer skin beneath.

Look for a product with a glycolic acid concentration between 8 and 10% and no other active ingredients. You should see results in the texture of your skin within a few weeks.

Side effects include more susceptibility to sunlight and minor skin irritation or blisters and burns. Fewer AHA products have FDA approval.

Retinol

Retinol is the chemical name for vitamin A – which is the active ingredient in the prescription drug Retin-A, the favored topical prescription acne treatment.

Retinol works best in high concentrations and when packaged stably. It hasn’t really proven its effectiveness for acne.

Sulfur and Resorcinol

Basically, sulfur kills acne bacteria. Resorcinol helps shed the outer layer of skin, and increases the effect of sulfur. However, experts aren’t entirely sure how it works in combination with sulfur.

Resorcinol alone is not an effective acne treatment. It can be very irritating to some patients. For those who can’t use BP or Retin-A, sulfur may be a good alternative.

The side effects are minor: dryness and unpleasant odour. It’s not recommended for pregnant women unless their doctor prescribes resorcinol. There are no major known adverse effects in resorcinol’s combination with sulfur.

Everyone is different

For maximum effectiveness, find a cleanser containing salicylic acid or glycolic acid, a leave-on benzoyl product, and a moisturizer you wear overtop.

As a general rule of thumb, OTC drugs should work within 6 to 8 weeks. If they don’t work within 10 weeks and even promote breakouts, see a dermatologist.

Now you have enough knowledge to look for effective skin products, as well as how to use them to use them the right way.

Acne Skin Care Tips

Paton Jackson has written Acne Skin Care Tips and writes "Acne skin care is no easy thing. For most people it is very challenging. Sometimes, acne lasts only through puberty and once those crazy adolescent years have past, things just get easier. Your face clears up and you don’t really worry about acne. But, that does not mean it goes this well for everyone. For many, acne will last well into their 20’s, 30’s and even beyond. And, for that there is a need for acne skin care tips like these.

Tips You Can Use Now
1. Find an effective skin care regimen and cleanser. There are many out there that are both natural acne treatments and those that are chemical in nature. Skin Care Tips for Oily Skin

Jerrick Foo has written Skin Care Tips for Oily Skin and writes "Sometime, some of us have very oily skin -- so oily that it shines!

Here are some tips I've learned over the years for skin care and make-up:

Only use oil-free foundations, powder blushers and powder eyeshadows. Apply foundation on freshly washed skin -- apply over eyelids and lips. A base of foundation on eyelids and lips will help eye shadow and lipstick stay on longer.

To help control the oil, wash your face with mild soap and water 2-3 times a day (if you are at home).

If you are not at home, carry baby wipes (for sensitive skin) in your purse and clean your face with a baby wipe -- then re-apply make-up. Use a drying facial masque at least once a week. Place hot, steamy washcloths on your face before applying the masque to open pores. This will help the masque "deep clean" your pores..

Only use oil-free moisturizer for sensitive skin at bedtime. If you want to dry up oil on top of make-up -- lightly dab your face with toilet tissue. The toilet tissue will soak-up the oil without removing your make-up.

To cover up a blemish, after you apply foundation, apply a tiny amount of under-eye concealer to your fingertip and lightly dab the blemish until it disappears.

I would recommend you to use Witch Hazel (available in drug stores) as an inexpensive astringent. You can also dab Witch Hazel on you scalp with a cotton ball to dry up the oil on your scalp. Drink at least 6-8 glasses of water a day to help control breakouts.

Oily Skin Treatment

Paul Cris has written Oily Skin Treatment and he says "10:46 AM 7/16/2006When the sebaceous glands in the body produce excess sebum, your skin turns oilier. Due to this skin condition you are most prone to face problems such as acne, whiteheads, blackheads, etc. Therefore due care should be taken on a regular basis to reduce the chances of developing skin diseases.

Daily, mix 1 tablespoon of limejuice with cucumber juice and apply it on the skin surface almost half an hour before having a bath. Your skin may be extremely oily and so mix a few trickles of eau de cologne. By treating the skin in this manner, you are not only removing the excess oil from the skin, but also clearing the pores that are present, thus preventing the development of acne.

If your skin appears oily, then after applying your makeup the light patches usually tend to stay there. But beforehand, if it is rubbed lightly with cucumber juice, and then makeup is applied then you will not face the same problem.

Sometimes your entire face has the remains of makeup. In this case, add witch-hazel in limejuice and then leave the area to dry. Be careful to properly dry away the area..

It is really better to add acetone in the astringent that you use, because it has the nature to dissolve the oil in the skin and eliminate it from the skin. If the astringent is strong it will burn the skin rather than removing the excess oil. It will again produce excess oil from the glands.

To bring a clear tone to the skin, use mud masks. Blend 1 teaspoon of raw honey in clay and mix it with water to form a fine paste. Spread the mixture on the face and preserve it on the face for about 15 minutes. To remove the above mixture, rinse the face with lukewarm water. Repeat the procedure for nearly three times a week.

Once or twice a week, apply the mixture of water and limejuice and leave the skin to dry for sometime. You can later wash the skin with lukewarm water and then wash again with the cold water. In this way you can take utmost care of your oily skin. Oily skin as a fact requires a lot of care in order to condition it to normal. Therefore whoever belongs to this category, they must follow the above-mentioned tips carefully, otherwise you may be exposed to different skin diseases.

Nail Care Secrets

Allison Saunders has written Nail Care Secrets and writes "Manicures, pedicures, artificial tips, paraffin treatments, nail jewelry - the nail care industry is booming, with nail salons seemingly on every corner.

Why is this, do you suppose? There was a time when only the wealthy had regular manicures, but now it's commonplace. Whether you go to a salon weekly, or choose to buff and polish your nails at home, it's important to take care of your fingertips.

Take a look at your hands. What do they say about you? Think about what they say to others. Are your hands rough, red, irritated? Or, are they smooth and pampered?

Are your cuticles ragged? Or have you cut or pushed them back? Hot pink, French tips, or clear-coated, it's not the color you wear that matters. What really matters is the condition of your hands and nails, and you can improve the state of your nails by taking a few simple steps..

Protect your nails
Wear gloves when washing the dishes or the kitchen floor. Do not use your nails as tools. They aren't meant to scrape the price stickers off your new picture frame. Be sure to apply sunscreen all the way down to the tips of your nails. Sun damage affects nails, too.

Moisturize your nails regularly
Every time you wash your hands, you need to moisturize your hands. Keep hand cream in your purse. Have a bottle in each bathroom of your home and one at the kitchen sink.

Nails need to breath
Every so often, leave the polish out of your manicure routine. Let your nails get a little oxygen.

Do not use nail products containing formaldehyde

It’s not used in biology class anymore. Don’t use it on your nails, it’s not safe.

Gelatin really does work
You thought it was a myth when you heard it as a teenager, but it’s true. Eating gelatin helps your nails grow strong and healthy.

Nutrition
Water, fresh fruits and vegetables, protein from meats and fish, and vitamins (multi and E, in particular) all stimulate nail growth.

All about Oily Skin Anti Aging Products

Oliver Turner has written All about Oily Skin Anti Aging Products and writes "Is there any thing called oily skin anti aging products? Yes! There is. Oily skin is an outcome of excessive secretion of sebum (an oily matter that is naturally produced by skin). When excessive sebum is produced, it starts clogging of skin pores, intern accumulates dead cells and pimples start coming up. Oily skin plunders your looks too. Therefore oily skin care is as significant as the anti aging skin care for other types of skin.

Effective Treatment Of Oily Skin Through Anti Aging Products
Anti aging skin care treatment for oily skin includes moisturizing, cleansing, and protecting your skin with medicines available to provide oily skin answers. Oily skin treatment starts with the use of a cleanser. But, all cleansers will not work effectively. The basic goal of oily skin treatment is the elimination of excessive sebum or oil from the skin.

You require a cleanser that contains a beta-hydroxy acid (salicylic acid) that can slow down the rate of sebum secretion. Most of the anti aging cosmetic products for oily skin are oil-free; therefore, check the ingredients of the product before purchasing it..

Anti aging skin care supplements for oily skin is also dependent on the degree of oiliness. If you aren't too much oily, some of those skin care products that are suitable for all type of skins might be working for you too. If you have tremendously oily skin, you can use anti aging products made only for oily skin. You can use a mild moisturizer. But make sure to use one that is wax-free, oil-free and lipid-free. You can also apply a clay mask as an anti aging skin care treatment for oily skin.

You Only Hold The Key!

So far your oily skin anti aging products are concerned, you might need to test out a few before you actually arrive at the one that is exactly suitable for your skin. The best anti aging treatment for oily skin should commence internally, which means it should take total care of your skin with maximum benefit.

Acne And oily Skin

CD Mohatta has written Acne And oily Skin and writes "Acne is a real cosmetic problem. Many of the acne patients sometimes feel that they would never get rid of acne. With latest treatments, if you have patience, you can treat your acne successfully. But what if you also have oily skin?

Oily Skin- What is it?
Our skin has sebaceous glands. These glands produce sebum. This sebum keeps our skin well moisturized and protects skin from microbial infections. The sebum is mainly made of lipids and dead skin cells. The skin constantly produces the sebum. If you don't wash your hair for few days you will find that your hair is oily. That is sebum. What if your body produces more than required sebum? You get oily skin.

Oily Skin- Why some people get it?
Why some people have it? As we saw, the sebum makes the skin oily. Some of us have overactive sebaceous glands. That is mainly because of hormones that trigger excess sebum production. That is the reason many women get more oily skin during their menstrual periods. Apart from regular care of the oily skin, talk to your doctor about any method to control the androgens that trigger sebum production.

Acne and oily skin
Oily skin is the right environment for the P.acnes bacteria to flourish. With more oil in the glands and on the skin, these bacteria infect many glands and produce acne. If you have oily skin, please manage it properly, otherwise your chances of getting acne are high.

The Best Acne Treatment May Be a Change in Diet
Western medicine is notoriously sophisticated when it comes to drug formulations and targeted medicine approached from a perspective based in deductive science. It has, however, been largely a failure when it comes to being open to solutions to medical problems which come from outside the realm of deductive science. That is why for years western medicine failed to draw ties between diet and acne. Medical development, and treatments for acne sufferers, has progressed significantly within the last 15 years alone. Yet the problem of acne has remained largely uncurbed, until recently. Read more....

How To Find The Best Acne Treatment For Your Skin
If purchasing an over the counter acne treatment, always be sure to read the directions and any warning labels. Follow the guidelines carefully when using the product. If you are trying an acne treatment for the first time, whether it be a lotion or pad product, apply it to a small area of the skin before continuing with the rest of the face. In some instances, depending on the individual, some acne treatment products may irritate the skin. In order to contain any potential irritation, it is also advisable to apply the acne treatment to a small area of the skin before each application even if you have previously used the product. Just because an acne treatment did not irritate the skin during its first use does not mean that it will not cause irritation in the future. A great natural cure for acne treatment is the Acne free in 3 Days System invented by a 15 year acne sufferer without pills or medication. Read more....

Acne Scar Treatment and Removal
Natural Acne Scar Treatment Starts with Healthy Blood That sounds odd I'm sure, but what determines the appearance of our skin, among other things? The existence of poisons (or the lack thereof) and nutrients within the bloodstream feeding the skin cells. Healthy skin will never exist in the presence of health-depriving toxins from pesticides, PCBs, dioxins, etc. How do we get rid of these guys? Well, any good herbalist would recommend good diets including lots of raw fruits and veggies along with whole grains, seeds and nuts. Read more....

Acne Scar Treatment Procedure
The only sure method of acne scar treatment is prevention early on. In general, you should never pick or squeeze acne, especially inflammatory acne or "pustules". Squeezing forces infected material deeper into the skin, causing additional inflammation and possible scarring. But there are many acne scar treatment options. All acne scar treatments are short procedures - fifteen minutes to an hour - but recovery times vary from fifteen minutes to many months. Scabbing, redness, swelling, flakiness, dryness, bruising and uneven skin tone are common post-treatment effects. Acne scar treatment can cost anywhere from $50 to over $3000. Ask a dermatologist which type of acne scar treatment is right for you. Read more....

Acne Scarring - What Are My Treatment Options?
Acne Scarring can have serious effects on a person's self-image and emotional state. Fortunately there have been significant advances in the treatment of acne-related scarring in recent years. It is important to note that nothing will completely heal the majority of scars. Laser Therapy - Using lasers to treat scars is a new technology, but is one of the most promising options for severe scarring. The lasers remove the scarred skin, and encourage growth of new skin in its place. After treatment, the skin will be pink and swollen for a week or so. During this time, bandages need to be kept over the skin to prevent infection. It takes months for the skin to return to normal, but most people will see less noticeable scars and smoother skin. Laser scar treatment can be quite expensive, however. Read more....

Acne Scars Cause, Prevention And Treatment
The other treatment used by most dermatologists for Acne scar prevention is the use of Aplpha-Hydroxy Acids of AHA's and Beta-Hydroxy Acids or BHA's. These help the skins remodeling process, with the right concentration and proper application; these can also prevent acne scars. Without the complicated chemicals and difficult dermatological treatments, you can also help prevent acne scars by treating your skin righteously. Avoid sun exposure, this can cause even more skin damage and may hamper the healing process of your skin. Wear sunscreen that has SPF 15 or higher. Picking at scabs never helped either. Never pick on acne as it heals; it interferes with the healing process and might worsen the resulting acne scar. Read more....

Get Rid Of Acne Scars
Acne scars, like any type of scarring, can seldom be permanently removed. Fortunately, there are several acne treatments now available that can help the scarred area return to a more "normal" appearance. Today's available treatment options differ considerably in their approach. What's right for a person will depend on several factors, including the type and extent of scarring involved, an evaluation of how the scarring is impacting the person's livelihood, and the individual's budget. Before making a decision, it's always advisable to thoroughly discuss treatment options with a dermatologist. Read more....

Treatment for Acne Scars
Deep acne scars such as ice pick and deep boxcar scars can be treated with the punch excision method. This procedure uses a punch biopsy tool that looks similar to a round, sharp cookie-cutter. It comes in diameters ranging from 1.5 mm to 3.5 mm, and the correct size can be chosen to match the size of the scar. Local anesthesia is used to remove the scar tissue and suture the edges together. If a new scar should develop in the old one’s place, it will now be easier to treat with a skin resurfacing technique. Read more....

A TCA peel cannot be applied as often as a more superficial peel. Generally speaking, a superficial peel can be applied every 2-5 weeks. Adult Acne Treatments The Natural Way
Some good lifestyle rules to stick to for clear skin are pretty much common sense, but nonetheless are worth repeating. Oily Skin Care Tips

Jennifer Puffer has written Oily Skin Care Tips and writes "Oily skin can be difficult to deal with but with the right products and techniques it can be managed. One of the most prevalent problems associated with oily skin is breakouts. The excess oil on the skin makes it difficult to prevent blockage of the pores. Another problem that is a result of oily skin is the inability to maintain a desired look with makeup. Following a few oily skin care tips can help alleviate both of these problems.

Preventing breakouts on oily skin can be possible by following a few oily skin care tips. First, washing your face at least twice a day can help to prevent breakouts by preventing pores from getting clogged. Pay close attention to only wash a few times a day because excess washing may only deplete the skin of natural oils that your skin products. It may take a while before you find the right product that will work with your skin type but once you find something that is right be sure to stick with it. Oily skin may also react with certain types of sunblock and moisturizers so when shopping for types of products read the label and be sure they are oil free and won't clog your pores..

Preventing makeup from running and smearing can also be prevented with specific oily skin care tips. One of these tips is to choose a water based foundation. This is important because oil based foundations will only compound your oily skin condition and result in your makeup running off of your face. A water based foundation, however, will not contribute to your oily skin care problem and will hold tightly on your face and will help the rest of your makeup remain intact. Another oily skin care tip is to use an application of pressed powder subsequent to your foundation application to set the foundation.

Natural Beauty Making Your Own Skin And Hair Treatments Is As Easy As 1-2-3

Melissa B. Rayn has written Natural Beauty – Making Your Own Skin And Hair Treatments Is As Easy As 1-2-3 and writes "

The quest for beautiful skin and hair is prevalent among women. You can make inexpensive, natural beauty and hair treatments from ingredients you have in your home that will perform just as well or better than products you purchase in the store.

If you only have one natural beauty remedy in your pantry, make it Olive Oil. It's extremely versatile and can be used on every part of your body.

Olive oil is excellent for removing mascara. It's much better than petroleum jelly or baby oil and is beneficial to the skin around your eyes.

Use a few drops of olive oil in warm water for a wonderful at-home manicure. Apply your favorite lotion afterwards to lock in the moisture..

Beeswax and olive oil melted and poured into a small tin makes wonderful lip balm that will keep your lips soft and smooth.

Dry feet can be healed after one night of this treatment. Before bed, rub olive oil into your dry, cracked feet. Do not rinse. Then, put a cozy pair of socks on and go to sleep. Your feet will drink in the moisture and feel much better by morning.

Add a few drops of olive oil to your bath water for the best skin softener you can imagine. And, if you're feeling extra decadent, then add a few drops of essential oil for a natural aromatherapy bath.

A very small amount of olive oil applied to dry hair will condition and get rid of frizz. This is a great leave-in conditioner.

Olive oil can also work as a shaving cream for men with sensitive skin.

Don't buy those expensive Sea Salt Scrubs. Make your own. Just add sea salt to olive oil and you've got a sea salt scrub that will feel like heaven. Add a drop of essential oils if you'd like your scrub scented.

Please use caution when using olive oil in your bathtub as it will get quite slippery and you don't want to fall.

It is not necessary to pay a lot of money for beauty treatment products. The things you have in your very own kitchen can often be the best beauty products available.

Natural Skin Care Products Toxic Chemicals

Dr. Edward has written Natural Skin Care Products – Toxic Chemicals and writes "How can you tell when a product that claims to be natural, really is? You might try reading the label, but unless you are a chemist, this may get a little confusing. Ingredients in skin care and beauty products are listed by the chemical names. An all-natural product should stand out from the rest because it should contain more easily recognizable ingredients. But if you want to be sure, you should carefully scrutinize the label and research any ingredients that you are unsure about. Here are a few in particular to avoid:

1,4-dioxane: This carcinogen is found in many cosmetics as a by-product of other chemical combinations. Products that use Ethoxylated surfactants as foaming agents or emulsifiers often produce 1,4-doixane in the manufacturing process. This chemical is considered toxic if it is inhaled, absorbed through the skin or ingested.

Alcohol, Isopropyl (SD-40): This drying agent is a common ingredient in many cosmetic products. When used directly on the skin, it strips off the outer most protective layer, exposing the body to bacteria, fungus, molds, and other toxins. It is derived from petroleum and may promote brown spots or premature aging..

Anionic Surfactants: surfactants are used in about 90% of foaming personal care products. They are also used in car washes, garage floor cleaners, and as engine degreasers. Common anionic surfactants include: Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES), Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate (ALS), Ammonium Laureth Sulfate (ALES), Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Sodium Cocoyl Sarcosinate, Potassium Coco Hydrolysed Collagen, TEA (Triethanolamine) Lauryl Sulfate, TEA (Triethanolamine) Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl or Cocoyl Sarcosine, Disodium Oleamide Sulfosuccinate, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, and Disodium Dioctyl Sulfosuccinate. Avoid all of these ingredients if they are on the label.

Cationic Surfactants: These surfactants are commonly used in hair conditioning products as they have anti-static properties. However, they are synthetic, irritating to hair follicles, and toxic. Long-term use can cause hair to become dry and brittle. Common cationic surfactants include Stearalkonium chloride, Benzalkonium chloride, Cetrimonium chloride, Cetalkonium chloride, and Lauryl dimonium hydrolysed collagen.

Chloromethylisothiazolinone and Isothiazolinone: these two harmful chemicals can be corrosive to the eyes and skin. Long term exposure can cause permanent eye damage and third degree burns to skin. They can be fatal if ingested and they can cause damage to the mucous membranes of the lungs if inhaled.

DEA (diethanolamine), MEA (Monoethanolamine), & TEA (triethanolamine): These chemicals are often used in personal care cleansers to adjust the pH of the formula. They can cause allergic reactions, eye irritation, dryness, and toxicity if used over long periods. These known carcinogens are already restricted in Europe but they may still be found in the formulas of American and Asian cosmetics.

Diazolidinyl urea and DMDM Hydantoin: These chemicals contain formaldehyde, a toxic carcinogen, and it can cause dermatitis, burning, irritation of the mucous membranes, inflammation, and watering of the eyes.

Ethoxylated surfactants: These surfactants are commonly used in cosmetic formulas as foaming agents, emulsifiers, and humectants. They may be listed on the ingredient label as "PEG", "polyethylene", "polyethylene glycol", "polyoxyethylene", "-eth-", or "-oxynol." These chemicals form 1,4-dioxane (a known carcinogen) as a byproduct in the manufacturing process.

FD&C Color Pigments: These synthetic color pigments are made from coal tar. They contain heavy metal salts that leave toxic byproducts on the skin. These chemicals have been tested on animals and found to cause cancer.

Formaldehyde: This is another cancer causing agent that is commonly found in commercial make-up products. It can cause allergic reactions, headaches, and chronic fatigue.

Imidazolidinyl urea: This chemical releases another harmful chemical, formaldehyde, as a byproduct in the manufacturing process. It may be listed under the trade name Germall 115.

Lanolin: Lanolin is used in many commercial cosmetic formulas, and it is often considered harmless. However, it is obtained from the wool of sheep and is therefore contaminated with the pesticide DDT unless it is obtained from organic sources.

Mineral Oil: Also called liquid parrafinum, mineral oil is a byproduct of petroleum that coats the skin like plastic. It disrupts the skin's natural ability to purge itself of toxins, slows down cell function and can cause premature aging. Mineral oil can also be found in paraffin wax, paraffin oil and petrolatum.

Nitrosating Agents: Chemicals that cause nitrosamine contamination have been found in laboratory tests to cause cancer. Nitrosamines can be found in the following chemical ingredients: 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol, Cocoyl Sarcosine, DEA compounds, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Formaldehyde, Hydrolysed Animal Protein, Lauryl Sarcosine, MEA compounds, Quaternium-7, 15, 31, 60, etc, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Ammonium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, and TEA compounds.

Paraben preservatives (methyl, propyl, butyl, and ethyl): These chemicals are often used in cosmetic formulas to inhibit microbial formation and extend the shelf life of the make-up products. They are commonly used in commercial applications even though they are known to be highly toxic and to cause allergic reactions and skin rashes.

Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) compounds: This petroleum product is used in commercial cleaners to break up grease and in spray on oven cleaners. Over time, this chemical can cause premature aging when used in personal care products.

Propylene/Butylene Glycol: This chemical compound is considered so toxic by the EPA that it mandates that its workers wear protective equipment when handling it. It is a petroleum product that penetrates the skin easily and can cause brain, liver, and kidney malfunctions. This ingredient is often found in stick deodorants where it can cause acute and chronic health hazards.

Rancid Natural Emollients: Creams and other commercial cosmetics made from refined vegetable oils contain harmful transfatty acids. Polyunsaturated oils can also oxidize quickly, causing free-radical damage to the skin and premature aging. They are also missing the essential nutrients, fatty acids, and vitamins that help protect and moisturize the skin.

Silicone derived emollients: Like other emollients, these products coat the skin like plastic wrap, and disrupt the skin's ability to breathe and release toxins. They can accumulate in the liver and lymph nodes and promote the development of tumors. Common silicone derived emollients include Dimethicone, Dimethicone Copolyol, and Cyclomethicone.

Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) Ammonium Laureth Sulfate (ALES): When combined with other ingredients, these chemicals form nitrosating agents and have a carcinogenic effect on the body. Be especially wary of semi-natural products that claim to be derived from coconut oil.

Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate (ALS): These chemicals can alter the immune system and cause damage to the eyes, digestive system, nervous system, lungs, and skin. They are commonly found in foaming personal care products. And may be listed as ingredients on semi-natural products that claim to come from coconut oil.

Stearalkonium Chloride: Originally developed as a fabric softener, this chemical is often found in hair conditioners and creams. They are toxic chemicals that can cause allergic reactions on contact.

Toluene: This chemical can be particularly dangerous if inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Aspiration can cause chemical pneumonitis, a fatal disorder. It is highly flammable in both liquid and vapor form and it may affect the liver, kidneys, nervous system, and blood. Overexposure can cause fatigue, confusion, headache, dizziness, or numbness. Severe overexposure can cause coma and death. Exposure to toulene can also affect the proper development of a growing fetus.

How to Create Your Own Natural Skin Care Recipes

Jerrick Foo has written How to Create Your Own Natural Skin Care Recipes and writes "Ever thought of experimenting with your own natural skin care recipes to combat that dry flaky skin?

You have to know that skin basically does everything alone. This means that it can produce enough oil from the sebaceous glands to make it shine and work together perfectly. The problems appear when it becomes dry.

Keeping this in mind there are several solutions you can apply using ingredients already found inside your home or at the local grocery shop.

Remember that what you eat is very important and bad diets or insufficient nutritional ingredients damage every part of the body. To be healthy and have perfect skin a balanced diet is the first factor that has to be taken into consideration. Perfect glowing skin can be achieved..

Have you heard of proteins? Well, they are very important for one’s skin regeneration and repair. Processed food rich in preservatives and salt will take moisture out of your skin. They can also cause the dreaded dry skin everybody is afraid of. Why not eat fish (salmon is the best), turkey, chicken or include in your diet vegetable protein? The all hated vegetables! They contain vegetal protein which is perfect for the body. Avoid frozen food! Vegetables are especially good if fresh.

Why not include in your natural skin care recipes ingredients such as garlic, onions or eggs? The contain Sulfur in a natural form and this substance is very important for the skin. Several multi-vitamins out there also contain sulfur and should be taken into account if your diet is lacking it.

Is your skin cracked? Have you considered being careful that your body receives enough vitamins A and B? Lacks of them cause this. Include in your diet food that contains these vitamins and eat carrots.

Beta-Carotene can be found in them and it’s good not only for your eyes. It plays a significant role in skin care as well.

What you also have to include in your diets number:

* Alpha-Hydroxy acids
* EFAs (Essential Fatty Acids)
* Lactic Acid
* Supplements
* Vitamin E
* Aloe Vera

Another important rule is: Avoid Junk Food! It is simply not good for you from all point of views.

Natural skin care recipes are available everywhere. Some work, some don’t! The best method of choosing one is to ask friends that use them. Also keep in mind that what works for somebody may not work on you! Don’t be discouraged and keep trying.

The best way to keep your skin perfect is by eating healthy and give your body every vitamin and mineral it needs. In most cases there is no need of expensive creams or lotions. A good moisturizer can replace them all if combined with a healthy way of eating.

Anti Aging Skin Care Products: The Evolution

Oxana Strelnikova has written Anti Aging Skin Care Products: The Evolution and writes "During the last 10 years more attention is paid to the anti aging skin care. Developments within this category were influenced by such factors as competition among the major brands, introduction of new technologies and new ingredients, as well as worldwide increase in demand for the so-called "rejuvenating cosmetics". People have no intentions of putting up with aging. Today they are turning to alternative therapies and anti aging products; however, they will not spend money on products which do not produce the wished results.

First anti aging skin care products appeared during the late 1980s. The first liposome ingredient delivery system was part of first generation anti aging skin care.

David Jago, an expert in the market analysis for MINTEL, evaluates the changes, which have taken place since then: "At present, the special properties, ingredients and benefits of the products are clearly shown on the label. In the late 1980s, it was only said that those products were firming, softening the skin, reducing lines etc., but their functional ingredients were usually not disclosed. Today’s press often informs us of specific ingredients and their benefits, thus contributing to the consumers’ education". As a result, there appeared a category of skin care products intended for specific age groups or needs. Usually, women aim at making their aging skin look younger, or their young skin - healthier.

In the beginning of 1990s, many anti aging skin care ingredients have been studied. The most important of those, Alpha Hydroxyl Acids (AHA), became the first ingredients to affect the aging skin. Sally Penford, of the International Dermal Institute, a postgraduate training school for therapists, comments: "It stimulated women to start considering cosmetic surgery, glycolic acid peels and laser skin treatments".

Another "great revolution" in anti aging skin care has been in the use of A, C and E vitamins, as well as group B vitamins and main fatty acids – they all have a special role of agents preventing premature aging. Of course they do not make miracles, but can support the good condition of the skin. As skin ages and is repeatedly exposed to harmful UV rays, the level of vitamin A, produced in the body, constantly decreases. The skin renewal processes slow down and the epidermal layer becomes progressively thinner. Some of the research of the ingredients, such as vitamin C, was held in 1990s. Further, scientists identified two key chemical "helpers" to assist in the delivery of vitamin C through the skin.

The formulations derived from it led to the development of anti aging skin care products, containing vitamin C and products, which contained a combination of vitamin C and pure Retinol (until recently, it has been extremely hard to combine both Retinol and vitamin C together in a stable formulation, as both ingredients are easily oxidized, when exposed to the air, and become inactive). In 1990s this type of skin care was already produced all over the world.

Further on, a great deal of interest in the anti-oxidants has been shown. A lot of studies have been done which show that protecting the skin can delay the onset of aging. The SUVIMAX studies in France showed that the use of anti-oxidants on the skin slows down the aging process. It is also possible to reduce lines and improve skin firmness.

Benefits of anti-oxidants were detected in grape seeds extracts. After that, cosmetic companies started using these benefits in their skin care products. Grape polyphenols are natural compounds derived from green grape seed extract which have been shown to have a powerful anti-oxidant effect. They shield the skin from the aggression of a wide range of free radicals and are known to help maintain the skin's moisture levels.

In the middle of 1990s Estee Lauder has completed research into understanding more about skin cells losing energy. Dr. Maes, Vice-President Research and Development, Estee Lauder Worldwide, explains: "We cannot make the skin look like when it was in youth. Technologies can decrease the lines by 50%, but we will never decrease them by 100%. We have studied skin samples and found that its thickness is already decreasing from the age of 20. In biological terms, if the cells are losing energy they will also lose their ability to protect themselves against the environment."

He compares this loss of energy to that of a battery running low which needs to be recharged. Thus, to slow down aging and protect the skin cells, manufacturers started using anti-oxidants, sunscreens and skin energizing technologies to “recharge” cells. They are described as a next generation skin nourishers that enable skin to tap into a fuel source of bio-available micro-nutrients.

The scientists have studied different types of skin aging and it means that they are capable of developing skin care which will effectively abate aging. It is recognized that 90% of skin damage is caused by external environmental aging. This includes smoking, wind, chemicals, and, most importantly, UV radiation. The level of pollution increases so quickly that skin cells can not develop self-protection mechanisms. Free radicals or oxidants are naturally generated in the body as a reaction to the aggression of external, environmental factors as well as internal factors such as stress and tiredness. A consequence of this aggression is an acceleration of the skin's aging process. Most of skin damage is done in the early years and people do not see the results of this until they are in their forties and fifties.

The reason for this is due to the skin's chronological aging, which we can do nothing about. Internal, chronological aging is largely a consequence of genetics and affects skin all over the body.

Modern scientific research in skin care and the growing knowledge of the skin's physiology mean that it is possible to stop and even repair skin damage which occurs later on in life. Thus, the latest thinking and research is focused on developing skin protection not from a plain Sun Protection Factor but from the cells themselves. The case in point is a new area of cosmetology (allocosmetics) and skin care products of modern generation of late 1990s, which are based on cell extracts that have lately drawn much attention of scientists. Cells can segment themselves and reproduce identical copies, replace old skin cells by new ones of the same type, take part in biochemical skin processes. This is what we call lifetime self-rejuvenation.

The strides made in anti aging technology over the past decade have been astounding and clearly show no signs of abating. We can be certain that there will be many more exciting achievements in anti aging skin care technology to come.
